APPLICATION & PROCESS: 

Double Sided Tablet Press Machine is used for production of simple and precise tablets from powder in Pharmaceutical and relevant Industries.

THE DRIVE

The machine is equipped with VARIABLE SPEED PULLEY. The turret is driven by PB worm/Equivalent Material fitted to a bearing mounted worm shaft gear box which is driven by motor. Small adjustment between the worm and worm wheel to allow for any wear which can be adjusted in turn extending it’s life.


THE GRAVITY FEED FRAME

Non mechanical open gravity feed frame are standard equipment in this machine. The gravity feed frame fitted with easy removed Fixing knob on rigid base plate and can be easily set and maintained at the desired height. Resetting of the feed frame base is not required during change over and cleaning. The gravity feed frame fitted with re-circulating band to keep avoid spilling of the powder.

THE POWDER LEVEL 

Powder level in the feed frame can be easily adjusted by hopper support bracket and knob. These adjustment are possible without having to shut down the machine and open the guard

THE TURRET AND DIE TABLE

We are proposing SS 316 die plate three piece turret along with SS 316 Powder Contact Parts. 
 
THE CAMS DESIGN

For smooth operation, all CAMS are calculated by computer with a harmonic profile to fluent operation and minimum wear.

THE UPPER PUNCH PENETRATION 

Adjustable upper punch penetration is provided as a standard features of CPEB4 model. The system provides the following features.

  • Change of level of compression of the tablet is possible in the die
  • Reduce ejection loads of difficult product like floppy or sticky
  • Die life can be increased by changing the level of tablet compression and reversing the dies
THE OVERLOAD AND PRESSURE RELEASE MECHANISM

·  The compression spring overload pressure release mechanism fitted to lower pressure roll for applying unique systems fitted to lower pressure roll for applying unique compression force. It combines the advantage of selecting constant force or constant thickness of the tablet press. The overload pressure release ensures any overloading transmitted to the punches without major damage. The overload pressure release should always be set to relieve the pressure with minimum effort consistent with the diameter and hardness of the tablet being made.

THE DUST EXTRACTION ARRANGEMENT

·  At high speed, the Dust Extraction system is prerequisite. The effective dust suction nozzles are fitted at compression zone with quick release design for easy cleaning.

THE LUBRICATION SYSTEMS

·  The CPEB4 model is equipped with one shot lubrication systems to serve lubrication to all pressure roll pin. Oil cups are provided wherever continuous lubrication is required.

THE NOISE LEVEL

·  The compression are is completely encapsulated and the machine itself is surrounded by sound absorbing covering. Therefore, the noise level is below 85 dB even under higher load. The machine is mounted on anti-vibration mounts.

THE CONTROL PANEL

The control panel fitted on front side of the machine. The control panel allows easy and safe adjustment of operating, easy cleaning and gives excess space for setting, change over and cleaning of the machine. The control panel is fitted with digital tablet counter, RPM Meter and Push Buttons. The electric components closed panel installed in the machine cabinet fitted with MCB, Overload relay, Contractors etc.

THE CLEANLINESS AND CLEANABILITY

The tableting zone has no painted surface and corner to avoid dust traps. The large cabinet combined with acrylic guards gives excellent access area for cleaning. Dust extractor nozzle significantly reduces the dust levels in the tableting zone.
